Just joined the sport club and wanted to list the 69 RoadRunner in the picture gallery. The car is a 4-speed, 426 hemi car with the original engine. Car was drag raced by two former owners and we have just about finished restoration. I collect Grand Spalding Dodge and Mr. Norm memorabilia. I look forward to the membership.
Thank you, Bill Dayton, Sevierville, TN

This is my 62 Dodge 2 door Hard Top, 426 street HEMI with a 65 Race HEMI intake and carbs, that's right, 2 dr.HT. This was built by a lady in Rio-Linda CA. and was purchased by Bob Johnson to be sold on the Barrett-Jackson Auto Search program.
Team Atlanta voted it down and that's when I found out about it, then went to Atlanta last year and brought it back.
All I've had to do is all the brakes, re-do the carbs, shocks etc. Then I put a really good audio system in it and drive it.
This car is so weird, most people don't even know what it is, and the ones who do, can't figure out weather or not you could get it in a two dr.HT wagon version. Really fun to drive, super fast and very dependable.

I have a 1970 Dodge Superbee that I bought in 1997 from the proverbial lil’ old lady. One thing I noticed was that it had a Mr. Norm’s sticker in the bottom of the windshield on the passenger side. I don’t know if the car came originally from there, or if just somebody stuck a sticker there. I’m enclosing a picture of the car. It’s not all original except for the engine, but it’s the way I like it. Tony Perez

My dad used to bring me to the dealership when I was a kid. I marveled at the cars and now I have owned 16 and now currently own 3 very nice Mopars. I`m sending you a couple of shots of my cars. I do my own restoration at home and I buy a few and sell a few. These 3 cars are from my collection. I just finished the 69 Dart Swinger, and the other two are my 1970 Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack, Matching Numbers,18K original Miles, and my 68 Super Bee 37,K miles, matching Numbers. ENJOY!, John

once upon a time, April 1966 to exact,I got 6 mt drivers license and bought my first 66 charger, a 383 auto car ( I wanted the hemi but did not have the extra 800 hundred dollars to get it ). That car lasted 100,000 plus miles and survived me watching the 99,999 odometer reading turn over to 00000. In 1993 I spotted a 66 Charger ( silver like my first one ) with a 318 engine in it for sale at the labor day Kruse auction near my home. I bought that and restored it along with the help of my son Chris. I had it for 5 years until I finally found my 66 heme Charger that I wanted in Canada .I bought that and completed restoration on it. I sold the 318 car in 1998 while paid tuition money to Ball state University for my other son, Darren. In 2002, collage finished and the person I sold the 318 charger to offered to sell it back to me since he was getting into the boat hobby. Aftrer getting it back we decded to bulld a clone 66 Heme Charger with a new 426 crate Hemi engine. WE gathered the parts and in February 2004 we had completed it. Now we have the Hemi twins. Mr Heme and Mrs Hemi. And, yes, my wife,Mary does drive her car. One Hemi car is good, but twom is even better. The elephant lives...happy motoring. Cam & Mary Moore Auburn, Indiana |
